"During the final evaluation of the 4311 more than 10,000 rounds were fired without failure, and drop tests were performed with filled magazines and exceeded 20 feet. Johnny tells us he “wanted to be able to literally drive a tank over it and not discharge.” This is especially important because the 4311 uses a fully tensioned striker for a smoother pull. Well, we don’t have a tank, but we do have a rawhide mallet, and we couldn’t manage to make the striker release without pulling the trigger. None of this matters if the trigger feels terrible, and fortunately for Johnny Glocks (and you) it’s damned good." -Dave Merrill
FAQs
Q. Which models will this work with?
A. Glock 43, 43X, 48, PSA Micro Dagger, CR920 or PF9SS | *CR920: firing pin incompatible
Q. What comes in the kit?
A. Everything, it's a full firing system! Complete Firing pin assembly, firing pin safety w/ spring, rear housing with receiver & connector, trigger bar and shoe.
Q. What's the difference between the 4311 and Evolution X Combat?
A. A completely different feel. 4311 is Ultra smooth, more take up (for safety), less defined wall with a semi rolling break, and incredible short quick reset. Evolution X has very little pre-travel to a defined wall with crisp break and short reset. The 4311 breaks further back whereas the Evolution X breaks out front.
The Evolution X is 100% OEM parts while the 4311 is 100% aftermarket parts.
Q. Which is a better conceal carry option? The Evolution X Combat or the 4311?
A. Both are applicable for defensive carry. It's a matter of preference.

DISCLAIMER
When Glock released the 43X with the new 15-round magazines, it finally checked all the boxes for what I wanted in an everyday carry pistol. I picked one up with the intention of making it my new EDC, but after my first range trip, I honestly couldn't stand shooting it.
After only about 50 rounds, the factory trigger had already given me a blood blister on my trigger finger, and I had to call it a day. I knew there had to be a better way.
Like most people, I started making upgrades. I installed an NDZ stainless steel guide rod with a 15 lb recoil spring, but that caused light primer strikes, so I swapped it for a 17 lb spring and the issue was resolved. I added an Olight Osight SE green dot, which I absolutely love, along with a Hogue grip and a Streamlight TLR-6. The pistol was getting better, but one problem remained—the trigger still tore up my finger every single range session.
I'd been watching Johnny Glocks' videos for over a year and even followed his polishing tutorial on the factory trigger components. It definitely smoothed out the gritty feel, but it still didn't solve the biggest issue.
Finally, I decided enough was enough and ordered the 4311 trigger kit.
What a difference.
This trigger completely transformed the gun. I just finished a 200-round range session without a single blood blister, something I never thought I'd say about this pistol. Even better, my groups tightened up considerably, and I finally have the confidence and accuracy I expect from an everyday carry firearm.
It's amazing how one well-designed trigger kit completely changed my opinion of the gun. What started as a pistol I regretted buying has become one that I genuinely enjoy shooting and, more importantly, trust to carry every day.
Yes, a Johnny Glocks trigger costs a little more than many of the alternatives, but after experiencing the difference firsthand, I can confidently say you're paying for superior engineering, craftsmanship, reliability, and performance. For me, it was worth every penny.
In fact, I was so impressed with the 4311 that I'm already planning to order a VEX 6 trigger kit for my Gen 6 G45 home defense pistol.
Easy installation, especially with the video. I installed this 4311 trigger on a Glock 48. I previously upgraded the trigger shoe to a metallic one, which improved the trigger feel a bit. Over several years, and 1000’s of rounds through it, the trigger went from average striker fired trigger to a slightly better than average striker fired trigger. The 4311 trigger upgrade is an absolute game changer. Truly the best striker fired trigger I have ever touched. I instruct both Law Enforcement and School Guardians, and I have shot nearly every mainstream firearm. This is really going to replace several daily carry guns now.
So after trying other brands (Apex being the last and safety tab randomly broke and of course no warranty) I could never get the feeling I wanted. I looked at this 4311 setup for quite some time before pulling the trigger (no pun intended) and purchasing it. $300 (shipping to Alaska sucks) is a lot of money to spend on a trigger setup, especially for a Glock.
Boy am I glad I did. By far the best (Glock) trigger setup I've ever used and am glad I purchased it. And after a year with well over 1000 rounds I still feel the same.
All of my Glocks (and PSA) now have at the least a Vex shoe.
Just buy it already...
Man when will this be bak in stock ?? Someone needs to come wake you guys up from ur nap !! 🤣. I’m just giving you guys a hard time only joking lol . But I would like to know if there is a time frame or projected month this will be available again ? Thank you 🤙🏼 I’m excited to check this out and ur brand . My go to favorite trigger was always boogeyman customs the excommmunicado , but they went out of business so I really need to get my hands on one of these for my 43x !
I never knew a striker fire could feel like this. I've owned around 20 glocks in my time and currently have 8 and never thought a striker fire could feel like that. I've done the polishing and tuning myself for years and I can make them feel damn good and smooth but nothing close to this. It's nutty how smooth and light it is and I've studied how everything works and meshes and it's astonishing how he's figured this out. Great trigger and I'll never recommend another and I'll put them in all my glocks moving forward. Good stuff Johnny
