Newest Version Of The Vex!!

I own so many of these Vex trigger shoes in different iterations but this newest version of the Vex is the best one so far because you can finally manually adjust both over-travel & pre-travel right from the adjustment screws on the trigger shoe itself. That was the only thing that bugged me in the past but JG fixed that so it’s 5 stars all day from me the Vex is dope!!! I also noticed the trigger safety goes up higher on the shoe now but that was never an issue for me personally I just noticed it comparing this newer model to my older Vex shoes.

Best aftermarket upgrade for glock

I love this trigger shoe. It feels great, very crisp break and reset is nice. Easy to install once the stock shoe is off the bar. Will be buying more of these for future Glock builds

Way better than the Gen 6 shoe

Got this to replace the gen 6 shoe, it pinched my finger at the trigger guard on reset. The Vex is really nice. Looks and feels high quality. The adjustment is easy, super short reset, and solid. Had to file down some sharp edges on the frame at the top of the trigger opening because the shoe is contoured different at the top than the stock shoe, only took a minute to do. So I found Mr Glock on youtube and his tutorial on how to basically make the trigger he sells. Being a certified home gunsmith I utilized his tutorial and it made the trigger feel so much better. I decided to throw him some business and buy the shoe. Glad I did.

After buggaring up the screw on my old vex shoe I replaced it with the new roll pin design. In my opinion the roll pins are easier for maintenance/ changing trigger bars.
No more heat guns.
This shoe seems to have tighter tolerances and more positive feel.

Love the shoe, hate the new pin

Third trigger/shoe that I have purchased and first with the new pin. No directions on how to best seat pin while aligning the trigger bar and antiroll pin. I ended up using the Allen wrench sent for the set screw as a guided rod. End of pin smashed up and not sure if it's fully seated to proper depth. I miss the old threaded screw

I am extremely happy with my new combat trigger. This was my first installation, but I followed along step by step with Johnny's YouTube tutorial. Had an issue with over travel initially, but it was addressed in the video and instruction card. It ended up being a fairly easy trouble shoot, and taught me how to adjust the trigger myself.

Took it straight to the range after for a test run. Zero malfunctions.

Highly recommend, and I'm sure I'll be picking up another at some point.

I did some rework on my Glock 48 and the trigger felt much better but then I installed the Johnny Glock trigger and it is fantastic! I am only giving them 5 stars because I can't give them 6! I ordered a Glock 19 Gen 4 trigger as well. It was easy and quick to install.

I have tried other products and did some work on my own also. This trigger is a significant improvement over the stock trigger and the work that I did.
