I wish I would have started my Glock clone build with this VEX trigger shoe because the trigger reach with the VEX fits me perfectly.
I originally installed an Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger, but my trigger finger couldn't reach to allow a straight pull of the trigger; the pad of my trigger finger was on the corner of the Apex Tactical trigger shoe.
I was searching YouTube videos for different Glock trigger shoes and saw a Johnny Glock video about the VEX. The shape of the VEX trigger shoe looked better than any I could find, so I had to try it; I'm absolutely glad I did. I have a 2011 pistol with a trigger insert sized to allow perfect fit for my trigger finger. This VEX trigger shoe in my Glock clone fits my trigger finger just as great as my hand built 2011. I couldn't be happier with how much better I shoot my Glock clone, now that the trigger shoe fits me.
For anyone struggling with getting good placement of your trigger finger on the trigger shoe, you have to try the VEX. Build quality is fantastic. It is easy to install on your existing trigger bar. The adjustable overtravel built into the VEX trigger shoe is also a great feature.
These used to be what I consider to be great trigger shoes but now that the pre travel has been increased the vex is similar to other trigger shoes on the market. I own 6 of these vex trigger shoes so clearly I like them but the newer versions have way more pre travel than the older ones but even with that said I still like the convex shoe I just wish I could get my hands on a few of the older models because pre travel can’t be adjusted 😆. The last one I bought like this one was from ranger proof swag & I was hoping the JG version would be like the older vex shoes I bought in the past but nope. Still a good trigger shoe I just feel it’s worth mentioning.
Just had to get one for my Gen5 G26 after getting one for my Gen5 G19 MOS. Just love this trigger shoe. Feels good, feels tactile, and it is definitely a lot shorter in terms of pre-travel VS stock. z

I put this(and the trigger bar) in my p80 and it did not work correctly. I got nervous. Put it in my gen3 g19 and it is perfect! Came with a spring kit too. I will be carrying my g19 instead of p80 from now on because I like this trigger much more than the overwatch precision TAC trigger I had on it. Thanks Johnny!!! Will be a return customer for sure, again.
Ordered the JG VEX Metal Trigger Shoe for my Gen5 G19 MOS that goes onto my OEM polished trigger bar I have and couldn't be happier! Definitely shorten up the pre-travel on my 19.
