Design Intention- This drop-in is a mechanically flawless, functionally reliable, and consistently predictable trigger system for dedicated use in competition only Glocks. The full adjustability allows for compatibility and compliance in all associations and across all divisions. Every aspect and minute detail of this system has been envisioned, scrutinized, developed, and rigorously tested. Functioning optimally with it break weight between 2.5 to 3 lb's this system delivers unsurpassed precision performance in your competition Glock. The geometry was developed using the Glock factory striker with a 4.5 lb striker spring. This achieves a sub 3lb. break weight yet still reliably ignites all primers. Also this creates a favorable counter tension retaining a positive and responsive trigger reset action and feel. The seer is 100% engaged which produces an extremely confident feel when running and gunning even at the lighter break weights. All in all this system exceed the expectations of shooters and smiths. It's architecture is in a league of its own as well as the competitors running it.

Action Description- Focus is maximum responsiveness to user input. You are in total control. The assurance of 100% engagement balances out the virtually non-existent pre-travel. Minimal press and SNAP a precise glass rod break feel as the seer cleanly releases the striker. You own this moment every time! Physical Modifications and Enhancements-Mechanically the trigger bar is smoothed and de-burred of any tooling. Then it is re-edged and re-radiused with a proprietary method consistent for competition application. Several other modifications and enhancements are performed on the trigger bar to maximize the ultra smooth drag free movement of the bar over polymer and metal parts. The trigger shoe and trigger housing's adjustable set screws are 18/10 stainless steel, tip ground, polished, and loctite seized. Also, the trigger housing has several propitiatory enhancements to assure smooth friction free action. The trigger safety tab protrusion is flushed to match the trigger shoe surface reliving trigger finger bite. The connector is reworked, re-edged, and uniquely angled creating all the distinctive traits of this particular systems break feel and reset action. The firing pin safety plunger and reduced power spring is modified and enhanced for smoother disengagement action. All these parts are designed to work in concert and mated specifically to one another to create an extraordinary competition trigger system.

The Trigger Alone = 10/10; Need to buy the striker.

The installation was super easy for this kit. After dry-firing a little bit, using it in an IDPA match, and comparing it to a Gen 4 trigger on a G21, I noticed the trigger is smooth, barely any pretravel, but the wall and sear engagement is not as defined as I have heard it to be. Will be purchasing the striker, as its the only piece I don't have and I have read everywhere its needed for the full effect. Will update this review once installed and tested. Again, as the title said, the trigger is still very smooth, but does feel like its missing something without the striker.

Not enough performance for the money

I was somewhat disappointed with the end result. This is certainly NOT a competition trigger for my G34. It came in at 4lbs with a little too much pretravel for my taste. I know, I know...I am quite critical about this issue, but I do have other triggers that have worked better as far as controlling the pull weight and the pretravel. I swapped the provided connector for the well polished Ghost 3.5 that I had in the pistol and was able to lower the trigger pull weight by another .5 lbs. I intend to try the Ghost "Edge" next.
In short, a competition trigger, in my opinion, should be under 3 lbs, 2.5lbs being my preference, with a minimum of pretravel (if any!), and no overtravel at all (which your trigger does provide). Also in my opinion, the problems discussed above probably come from using OEM Glock parts which are not intended to give us the trigger we all dream about. Just being candid and honest with my thoughts. I do appreciate all of the people that, like you, recognize the inherent competition deficiencies in most Glocks, and try to improve on the duty OEM Glock triggers. Best!

Thanks to Johnny and the team for creating YouTube videos that educate and inform a wide audience. I am the owner of both the Combat Trigger System and the Competition Trigger System, as well as individual strikers, and connectors. Glock triggers are a system. If you want a full upgrade, go with the complete system, including the striker. If you are just punching paper or plinking steel, get the Competition Trigger System. It is awesome. If you are running and gunning drills or carrying defensively, consider the Combat. Note, the Combat does have a defined wall that can be a hinderance to accuracy. Watch Johnny's videos to learn subtleties and caveats. Test your spring weights with the ammo you carry to determine what is best for you.

Best Glock trigger on the market

Full kit with striker and vex shoe. Absolutely minimal pre travel, crisp break, no over travel. Was missing the set screw at first but waited to write my review until I got it. Johnny got it out to me nice and fast. Along with some accompanying mods from his YouTube channel (cleaned up the polymer outcroppings in the frame, polished spring cups, channel liner and striker spring) this thing no longer feels like a Glock trigger. More easily compared to a DA/SA in single action feel wise. Zero grit in the take up.
You'd never think a striker trigger could be this good until you get this thing really dialed in.

I am extremely happy with my new combat trigger. This was my first installation, but I followed along step by step with Johnny's YouTube tutorial. Had an issue with over travel initially, but it was addressed in the video and instruction card. It ended up being a fairly easy trouble shoot, and taught me how to adjust the trigger myself.

Took it straight to the range after for a test run. Zero malfunctions.

Highly recommend, and I'm sure I'll be picking up another at some point.

I did some rework on my Glock 48 and the trigger felt much better but then I installed the Johnny Glock trigger and it is fantastic! I am only giving them 5 stars because I can't give them 6! I ordered a Glock 19 Gen 4 trigger as well. It was easy and quick to install.

I have tried other products and did some work on my own also. This trigger is a significant improvement over the stock trigger and the work that I did.
