The Timney Alpha Glock competition trigger is an amazing innovation. However a trigger is much more than a light break. This trigger shoe upgrade addresses all the inefficiencies inherent in the current system. It is a plug and play replacement that is easily set screw installed and unbelievably user friendly. Impressive

I bought the Timney Alpha Glock Gen 5 trigger and stripped a screw immediately and had issues with the reset. The Vex trigger shoe from Johnny Glock for the Timney was THE answer and now the combination is so perfect at all stages I didn’t know a Glock trigger could get this good. Also, while frustrated with the Timney install, and having just ordered the Vex, I called in and Johnny Glock himself answered the phone and all my questions. Extremely impressive company that cares about the customer deeply. The proof is in the pudding!!

Timney Alpha Glock Vex trigger shoe upgrade is a WINNER!

When you are at matches these days running a Glock and the fellas around you are using Staccato's, Platypus's, various high end custom 2011's and CZ Shadow II's you need an edge.
Now my G34 has a Taylor Freelance 3 oz weight in the grip hollow. Also a 4 oz light, Talon Grip, Holosun Comp RDS, Taran Tactical connector and a Timney trigger. Now this gives me a 30 oz well balanced pistol with a decent 3.5 lb trigger.
But what supplies the edge this Super Senior needs is the Vex Trigger Shoe Upgrade. Yes it dropped the pull weight to 2.5 lbs, which is pretty cool. But the take up and reset are phenomenal. Previously my PCC boasted the best trigger in my gun safe. Now my G34 rivals that! My Buddy who runs a Staccato shot my gun and he said, "This feels like you are cheating." Well I'm not, I just have the best trigger shoe available anywhere. The Vex is an amazing design and built with quality craftsmanship. Thank you Johnny Glock and Crew!

All pros no cons

I love the trigger shoe!! It’s greatly improved my accuracy personally and I really appreciate the you tube videos to see where my parts are made and the quality that’s put in to them by the team. I learn a lot about my gun by watching so thank you fellas. Also I have my smith change parts out for me to help promote small business in my area so changing out the trigger pin was a sinch 🤣

Just amazing!!

This is way better than anything else I have try. Strongly recommended if you got the Timney trigger. This shoe take the reset of the timney to another level. You wont regret a thing except taking the pin of the timney to replace the shoe, that thing is super hard but is worth it. If I would have know better I would go for the compete system of Johnny glock trigger.

Big Time Upgrade

Take the time to set your over travel screw, totally worth it. Most difficult part was getting the pin out of the Timney shoe.
Reset is sharp and quick, trigger pull is crisp.
Well worth the investment.

I am extremely happy with my new combat trigger. This was my first installation, but I followed along step by step with Johnny's YouTube tutorial. Had an issue with over travel initially, but it was addressed in the video and instruction card. It ended up being a fairly easy trouble shoot, and taught me how to adjust the trigger myself.

Took it straight to the range after for a test run. Zero malfunctions.

Highly recommend, and I'm sure I'll be picking up another at some point.

I did some rework on my Glock 48 and the trigger felt much better but then I installed the Johnny Glock trigger and it is fantastic! I am only giving them 5 stars because I can't give them 6! I ordered a Glock 19 Gen 4 trigger as well. It was easy and quick to install.

I have tried other products and did some work on my own also. This trigger is a significant improvement over the stock trigger and the work that I did.
