VEX SIX Drop-In Trigger System

Johnny Glock Vex 6 is installed in both my Gen 6 17 and 19 install went great no issues with them at all so far happy to report! I have had both guns since early January and this was the first full cleaning as of this install for both. After cleaning I put the Vex 6 in the 17 and then I did the safety checks Johnny says to do then I dry fired it a few times and then shot five rounds no issues. I moved over to the 19 and did the same cleaned and then installed the Vex 6 I did the safety checks and then dry fired it a few times and shot five rounds. I ordered two of the Defensive Vex 6 on install I went with the orange striker spring for both. Johnny notes in videos and online that both of these striker springs are 100% primer strikes and looks that way to me I posted photos and a write up on Glock IQ if interested in more info.

So just messing with it a little and only shooting 5 rounds I like it everything does look nicely done. I have to say the trigger itself is great! I love the way it feels on my finger it’s the way the pistol should be from Glock! It does reduce a lot of take up from the stock setup, It’s just a little take up before a clear wall and then it just breaks the reset is fast as well. This was my first take down since a Gen 3 pistol all went well and didn’t have any issues. I asked with my order if I could get or add two extended slide stops but didn’t get an answer so I ordered from GlockStore and also install on both the 17 and 19 OEM Glock Factory Extended Slide Stop’s and I think for me these should be the standard on Glock pistols as well. I can’t wait to run both pistols more and see how it goes. Thanks again for the Easter sale Johnny Glock!

I purchased the Vex 6 trigger kit (Defense) 3 days after I bought and shot my new Gen 6 G45 COA. Once installed I immediately felt the difference compared to the factory trigger. Although the factory trigger from Glock is ok the Vex 6 kit takes a lot of spongy pre travel and creep out of the equation. My groups at at 15 - 25 yards tighten up drastically which naturally increases your confidence level. I let two of my range buddies test out the Vex 6 trigger kit and they loved how crisp the trigger now is. My only complaint…this kit is a bit pricey…BUT…I do not regret this purchase. I highly recommend this upgrade for the Gen 6 Glock 17, 19 or 45.

Installed the Vex 6 kit to include the trigger spring on my G45 and G19. Amazing trigger feel, reset, and trigger placement. All safety features work as designed. Seems to be in the 4.25-4.50 pull weight. Very good for self sense. Shot perfect, no issues.

This is my first Johnny Glock trigger and I’m beyond impressed! I went with the Defensive and it’s exactly what I was needing for my Glock 17 Gen 6. I won’t be able to use any other trigger for glocks after buying this.

The vex 6 trigger is by far the best upgrade that can be done to a Glock Gen 6. The trigger not only reduces pre-travel, over travel, and pull weight, but also provides a crisp break feel. Basically it does everything that has been promised, and Installation is quick and easy. I highly recommend this trigger to anyone looking to upgrade their GEN 6 Glock.
