The new Johnny Glocks Umbra trigger kit is a complete replacement and will be in their Combat style, with no separate Competition kit. The flatfaced Vex Duex trigger shoe is new, featuring a longer safety dingus with improved fulcrum point and a reduced power spring. There’s also a reduced power firing pin safety spring and three firing pin springs (4, 4.5, and 5 pounds) to dial in your desired feel. All the components are OEM from Shadow Systems and worked over by Johnny to deliver the trigger pull you’ve grown to expect from him. The modified firing pin is an optional upgrade. We installed the complete kit in the MR920, swapping out the firing pin spring to achieve a 4-pound trigger pull. Another incredible trigger by Johnny

If I could give 6 stars I absolutely would. I don’t usually leave product reviews but this definitely deserves it. All I can say is WOW. The factory Shadow Systems trigger isn’t terrible, but it absolutely could use some help, and Johnny’s full Umbra trigger kit delivers. It turned my XR920 into a finally tuned machine. The Vex trigger shoe, the shortened take-up, the glass-sharp break, the lightning-fast reset… every part of this setup hits harder than the stock trigger ever could.

If you’re debating it and have the means to do so, stop hesitating and buy it! You will not regret it. Huge thanks to the johnny and the team. this trigger kit absolutely blew me away.

I'm glad that someone finally took up the challenge of giving the Shadow systems pistols a fair chance to compete in the marketplace. The Umbra trigger is just what it says it does: A good wall, crisp break, short reset, and minimal creep. A few disadvantages: 1) they really have no instructions with the product. This is not a huge deal, but I would have liked a set-up sheet explaining what each option does. 2) The firing pin safety spring was making an annoying noise when you were pulling the trigger. I discovered it was the spring catching on the beveled area inside the pin safety. I was able to radius it better and make the noise stop. Now it is like butter....

DR920 Trigger Upgrade-Amazing!!

Recently purchased the Umbra trigger upgrade for my DR920 Elite. This is the trigger system that Shadow Systems should have originally installed! Night and day difference in the quality of trigger function and operation! So impressive that I purchased another one for my other DR920. Highly! Thank you Jonny for your amazing products!!

This trigger takes your gun from good to great! If you can afford it don’t hesitate to buy. Install was a breeze and I think the peace of mind of safety and reliability make it worth the money. The trigger is definitely what shadow systems should have been out of the box.

Truly Impressive

I ordered this trigger not expecting a whole lot, since the Shadow Systems trigger is already a good bit better than a standard Glock, boy was I wrong. This kit is as big of a jump in improvement as a stock gen 3 is to a shadow systems gun. By FAR the best trigger I've ever felt in any glock platform gun. The wall and the reset are CRISPY and all the slop that was there is now gone from the trigger. It is somehow both incredibly crisp and smooth at the same time, simply lovely.
I wish that the order window had a way to specify the kind of striker that your gun has first, since the older Shadow Systems guns have gen 3 style strikers instead of the one that comes with the kit, but that was taken care of after a bit of back and forward with support.
The Umbra trigger system is a MUST for anyone looking to take their Shadow Systems firearm up a notch.

I am extremely happy with my new combat trigger. This was my first installation, but I followed along step by step with Johnny's YouTube tutorial. Had an issue with over travel initially, but it was addressed in the video and instruction card. It ended up being a fairly easy trouble shoot, and taught me how to adjust the trigger myself.

Took it straight to the range after for a test run. Zero malfunctions.

Highly recommend, and I'm sure I'll be picking up another at some point.

I did some rework on my Glock 48 and the trigger felt much better but then I installed the Johnny Glock trigger and it is fantastic! I am only giving them 5 stars because I can't give them 6! I ordered a Glock 19 Gen 4 trigger as well. It was easy and quick to install.
